What is Steampunk?
Steampunk is a phrase first coined in the 1980s that describes, in essence, an alternate reality where the Victorian period (late 1800s or early 1900s) coincides with the modern technology era. It combines the best of both worlds of Victorian high design and craftsmanship with modern functionality and usefulness.

Steampunk can also go both ways: (1) Take authentic Victorian items or homes and modernize them for today’s use or (2) Take modern items and “Victorianize” them to appear they are original from the period.

Steampuffin's Mission
Steampuffin wants to introduce an alternative to the modern ‘designed’ home, mostly void of character and warmth and provide a new (old) ‘Steampunk’ design aesthetic option for homeowners, business owners and designers – primarily in their kitchens, bathrooms and offices. The best Steampuffin inventions use authentic Victorian or Industrial period items infused with modern technology of today.
